SGC passes bill to provide free stamps for absentee ballots

The Student Governance Council passed a bill to provide free postage stamps for absentee ballots for all elections during its Feb. 25 meeting.
Costa joined the college in September 2018, and his last day will be Sept. 4. Pringle, who retired in June 2019, preceded Costa in these roles.    

SGC discusses new sexual harassment laws

Guilherme Costa, vice president, general counsel and secretary to the Ithaca College Board of Trustees, discussed new sexual harassment laws with the Student Governance Council at its Oct. 1 meeting.
The event was held in the Taughannock Falls Room in Phillips Hall, at which nine students, all running unopposed, gave speeches about why they are eligible candidates for their respective positions on the SGC Senate.
