This season, the Ithaca College baseball team’s winter practices featured a unique addition. The team had their normal hitting and fielding stations, but this year, there was a new station at practice — the FITLIGHT reaction time training system.
The faculty athletic representative program has been active at Ithaca College for nine years and has quickly developed into a mainstay in the school’s relationship between athletics and academics. Â
Ithaca College Athletics announced the return of the Blue Crew student rewards program on Jan. 31. This program brings together Ithaca College students, giving them an incentive to attend sporting events in return for points toward special prizes.Â
The Liberty League announced March 1 that there will be athletic competition this spring after canceling fall and winter sports for the 2020–21 academic year.Â
