The Ithaca College club ice hockey team has a 1–2 record overall, but they are looking to stand out in its division as a team to watch out for.
Many of Ithaca College’s fall teams are opening up the month of October in Ithaca for their respective games against Liberty League opponents.
In their first Liberty League conference game, the women’s soccer team lost to Clarkson University 2–1 at Carp Wood Field Sept. 23.
The football team traveled to Brockport, New York to take on SUNY Brockport. The Bombers fell 31–0 on the road to have an 0–2 start to the season.
After former head coach Mike Welch retired after 23 seasons, the football team will be lead by a new coaching staff for the 2017 season.
After leading St. John Fisher 3–1 in the sixth inning, the Bombers lost the lead late in the game losing by the score of 5–4.
Head men’s lacrosse coach Jeff Long has been coaching the Bombers for the past 30 years and achieved his 300th win the first game of the 2017 season.

The Ithaca College men’s soccer team lost 2–1 against Houghton College in the Empire 8 semifinals Nov. 4.
The men’s and women’s cross-country teams will be competing in the Empire 8 Championships at 11 a.m. Oct. 29.

The Ithaca College volleyball team won both of its matches Oct. 8 against St. John Fisher College and Hartwick College.
