Strategic planning committee drafts new vision statement

The steering committee of the five-year strategic plan for Ithaca College has been working this semester to develop themes and a new vision statement for the project.

Even though the emphasis on transparency and collaboration is admirable, the strategic plan is still a big mystery.
Benjamin Rifkin, provost and vice president for educational affairs, is head of a team monitoring Ithaca College's reaccreditation process. The college is currently in The Middle States Commission on Higher Education reaccreditation process, a procedure to evaluate if the college is reaching certain standards of quality higher education.
