Student employees decrease for spring semester

Some departments on campus are having to adjust to operate with fewer employees while former student employees look for other jobs amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Junior Joe Minissale and senior Corey Laisure pick up Laisure's PPECS order Sept. 11 outside the Park School. Laisure, a cinema and photography major with a concentration in cinema production, is starting production for his senior thesis.

PPECS offers curbside pickup for remote Fall 2020

Ithaca College’s PPECS is continuing to offer equipment checkouts to students despite Fall 2020 being held remotely.
The production team, which includes six full-time staff and three to four part-time employees, had the goal of creating a universal, inexpensive mask that could be easily produced using preexisting materials found in the print shop, said Glen Harris, operations manager of the print center. 

Center for Print Production makes masks for Ithaca community

The Center for Print Production at Ithaca College is producing masks and face shields for members of the campus community and the greater Ithaca area. 
Hayley Harris, vice president for human and organizational development and planning, said the move from Parnassus to Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud will help the college improve the accuracy of its workforce data, enhance its ability to make good business decisions and serve as a more user-friendly service for faculty, staff and students.

Office of Human Resources switches management software
