The faculty athletic mentor program was introduced in 2015 with an initial seven faculty athletic mentors. Now with 21 active mentors, the program looks to make sure every athlete knows academic resources are there for them.

The faculty athletic representative program has been active at Ithaca College for nine years and has quickly developed into a mainstay in the school’s relationship between athletics and academics.

Ithaca College faculty respond to Rochon stepping down

Faculty at Ithaca College have expressed mixed reactions to the early retirement of President Tom Rochon. Some believe it was the right call, some feel Rochon should leave the college sooner, while others said Rochon did not deserve the criticism he received.
Faculty Council convened Jan. 19 and heard a presentation from Benjamin Rifkin, provost and vice president for educational affairs, on an idea for a new administrative position.

Faculty hold teach-in on Rochon vote of no confidence
