Ithaca College hosts TEDx conference for campus community

Student organization prepares to host TEDx event on campus

Ithaca College’s TEDx Club will be independently organizing its first conference since 2017 on Oct. 22, featuring 10 speakers in the Emerson Suites, alongside a live stream screening in Park Hall.

TEDx is a branch of the TED speaker series. The club is planning a one-day TEDx event in March with a lineup of students, faculty and members of the greater Ithaca community, which will officially be announced in the spring semester.

Ithaca College senior Dan Ruthman created IC Enactus, the college’s first chapter of the national organization, which promotes social and entrepreneurial opportunities for students to work with local businesses in the Ithaca area.

Whalen Symposium to feature 425 student presenters
