Creator of ‘Black-ish’ Kenya Barris wins Rod Serling Award

Ithaca College recognizes Kenya Barris, executive producer and creator of the ABC comedy “Black-ish,” with the Rod Serling Award.
These digital competitions and projects are not new to the Park school, but one new element of the production process is that the sideshow will be run by students from “Live Event Production,” a television-radio class taught by Chrissy Guest.

The cast and crew of Its a Good Life performed a rendition of an Insight episode, led by Dan Jones 12, writer, director and designer, as a part of the Rod Serling Conference. The original episode was written by Serling.
