An Ithaca College student accused of sexual assault filed a complaint alleging that the college discriminated against them on the basis of sex and race.
The battle for justice has been long and it will not end anytime soon. It is not isolated to Brock Turner or Steubenville.
So far this academic year, there have been 20 sexual assaults reported to the Title IX office at the college, and in the 2015–16 academic year, there were 23 sexual assaults reported, said Ziemann.
The rally was prompted by the looming threats and attempts made by the Trump administration to defund Planned Parenthood, club members said.
