Students’ passion for beer wins Business Plan Competition

Ithaca College seniors Zane Coffey, Max Ocean and Daniel Minogue received $20,000 toward their company, Subversive Malting & Brewing, at the Business Plan Competition on April 28.
Sixth-year student Tim Reynolds won $20,000 at the first Business Plan Competition, which was held April 22 in Emerson Suites. His product, KettleShell, is a device to make using dumbbells easier.

Tim Reynolds, sixth-year graduate student in the Department of Physical Therapy, took the first-place prize at the first-ever Business Plan Competition on April 22 for his entrepreneurial company and product, KettleShell.

IC collaborates with TC3 and Cornell on hub for ideas

A new Downtown Ithaca Incubator will provide a location for Ithaca College students to collaborate with students from Cornell and TC3, while working to create businesses.
Local government officials met with representatives from Ithaca College, Cornell University and TC3 to discuss plans for the Downtown Ithaca Incubator, on Jan 16.
