As of March 3, there were 81 active cases, with 12 new cases reported the same day. Active cases have been under 100 for the last four days.
Both individuals are in isolation, and all close contacts are in quarantine. Both cases were identified following travel, according to the Tompkins County Health Department.
Cornell University lowered its COVID-19 alert level Feb. 22 from yellow to green, meaning cases are rare and transmission is controlled.
Cayuga Health Systems (CHS) is suspending services at the Ithaca Urgent Care starting Feb. 15.
