Our choice to ignore hate and sadness means that we choose to prevent possible progress. We have a responsibility to treat tragedy with the gravity it deserves.

We must all do our part to ensure that the victims are remembered and that we do not surrender to intimidation or fear.
Members of the Ithaca College and local community attended a vigil in Muller Chapel Oct. 28 held to honor the victims and survivors of the shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh Oct. 27. Eleven members of the Jewish community were murdered at the scene.
