In a time when social justice has become inextricable from sports and when more people are coming out as LGBTQ+ than ever before, the NCAA must protect the athletes who it claims to support.
Roger Richardson, associate vice provost for diversity, inclusion and engagement, was hired in November 2015 to serve as the interim chief diversity officer. President Tom Rochon said he is reconsidering the position.
