SGC talks student success, community involvement and new bill

SGC welcomed three guest speakers, discussed a new bill and appointed a new vice president of communications at its meeting Nov. 14.
Freshman Sebestian Chavez was elected senator-at-large by the Sudent Governance Council. The council is still looking to fill twelve empty seats on the counsil as quickly as possible.

IC SGC appoints new executive board members

Ithaca College’s Student Governance Council opened the spring semester by appointing two new members to its executive board.
Sophomore Kyle Stewart, vice president of communications for the Student Government Association, said the SGA encourages students to attend events, run for senate positions and provide input on important campus issues.
