The Ithaca College bargaining committee has posted the most comprehensive wage and job security proposal for the contingent faculty unions to date.
Sarah Grunberg, a lecturer in the Department of Sociology, and Brody Burroughs, lecturer in the Department of Art, met with members of the administration Aug. 16 as part of ongoing negotiations about key contract provisions including benefits, wages and job security.

Part-time faculty and administration continue long contract talks

After nearly a year of negotiations, the Ithaca College part-time faculty union and the administration are still negotiating the most complex contract elements: benefits, wages and job security. Each side feels differently about the progress that’s being made.
