The Ithaca College Football team defeated Saint Vincent College 38–14 to start the season 1–0. The Bombers were led by strong defensive play.

The football team shutout Utica College 14–0 on the road Oct. 28. This was the Bombers third shutout in two seasons.

In its first ever meeting against the University of Rochester in program history, the football team defeated the Yellowjackets 46–6.

The football team remains undefeated in Liberty League Conference play after defeating Hobart College 24–21 Sept. 30.
The football team picked up their first win of the season Sept. 16 against St. Lawrence University. This is their first win in the new conference.
The football team traveled to Brockport, New York to take on SUNY Brockport. The Bombers fell 31–0 on the road to have an 0–2 start to the season.
