Fantasy author Tamora Pierce attended the 42nd annual Ithacon. Her characters represent a wide range of genders and sexualities, which defy stereotypes found in traditional fantasy.

Annual comic-book themed convention aims to unite community

Members of the Ithaca community gathered on March 24 and 25 for the 43rd annual Ithacon, a comic book convention hosted by Ithaca College.
Comic book fans of all ages wander around the Emerson Suites at last years Ithacon. The 2017 convention on March 25–26 will feature sketch workshops, cosplay contests and childrens activities.

Water leaks spring up across Ithaca College campus

Ithaca College experienced a string of water leaks across campus following cold weather and heavy rain.
Students who live in the Sustainability Community, now known as the Organic Gardening and Cooking Community, cook food from the organic gardens on campus, including the one on the roof of Terrace Dining Hall that was planted in the Fall.

Senior Suba Chakraborty was born with a disability causing his leg to stop growth after his thigh. Chakraborty said the campus is a challenge for him to navigate.
