Free throws fuel St. John Fisher’s 73-67 win over women’s basketball

The St. John Fisher University Cardinals’ relentless march to the free-throw line proved to be the dagger for the Ithaca College women’s basketball team, as the Cardinals cashed in on 79% of their 34 attempts to secure a hard-fought 73-67 victory.
The Ithaca College’s women’s basketball team aims for a comeback after missing the NCAA Tournament last season. With new talent and strong returning players, they’re determined to reclaim their spot.

Women’s basketball eyes Liberty League revenge

Ithaca College seems to have a “redeem team” of its own this season, as the women’s basketball team aims to return to the summit of the Liberty League Championship Tournament.

The Ithaca College women’s basketball team dropped a close game to the Skidmore College Thoroughbreds on Jan. 20, losing by a final score of 66–59 and bringing a nine game winning streak to an end.

After its loss in the Liberty League Championship last season against Skidmore College, the Ithaca College women’s basketball team is coming back to try and redeem its title shortcomings. After only losing by two points in that Liberty League title game, the team plans on not letting that happen again.
