The fourth ranked wrestling squad in the country, the Ithaca College Bombers won three matches at the Oneonta Quad Meet in Oneonta, New York. The first win was a 37–6 win over Wesleyan University. Next up was a 47–3 win over SUNY Oneonta. The South Hill squad then defeated Williams College 37–6.

The Bombers put up a commanding 8–2 record against Wesleyan. First up was a 125-pound match between senior Jimmy Kaishian and Wesleyan’s sophomore Zach Murillo. Kaishian started off the day right for the Bombers, getting the 12–4 win. In the 157-pound bout the Blue and Gold suffered their first loss of the day, as sophomore Demitri D’Orsaneo fell 5–4 to Wesleyan’s senior Robert Rosenberg. In the 165-pound bout junior Nick Velez got the South Hill squad back on the right track with a big win over freshman Aaron Cranston. The Bombers again fell in the 197 bout when Wesleyan’s senior Devon Carillo beat Carlos Toribio 13-11.

Next up for the Bombers was a matchup with host SUNY Oneonta. The Bombers took down the Red Dragons 47–3. The Blue and Gold got wins from nine of their wrestlers, only losing the 157 pound bout. In the 157 pound match D’Orsaneo lost his second match of the day, this time to sophomore Daniel Murphy.

In the last match of the day the Bombers lost two matches out of 10 against Williams College. In the 125 pound bout, Kaishian beat Matt Morris 9–3. In the 285 pound match, the final match of the day, sophomore Jake O’Brien got a pinfall on Williams freshman Nicolas Beauchamp.

Ithaca comes home to face Wilkes University at 7 p.m. Feb. 10 in Ben Light Gymnasium.
