Glee Filled Night

One day a week I have an 8:00 a.m. class. Wednesday mornings I wake up, eat a bagel and go sit in a class with 150 other people where we watch movies and discuss if we can learn history through them. For two and a half hours. It is only once a week, so I figure I can do it 13 times, but boy do I question it sometimes.

This past Tuesday night I did what I normally do; a group of friends and I went to someone’s apartment and watched “Glee.”

“I’ll be back soon,” I said when I left my room.

“How soon?” one of my roommates asked.

“Three hours, maybe,” I said.

By “watch ‘Glee’,” I should add that it’s more than a simple viewing; it’s more of an event. We congregate at my friend, Jimmy’s, apartment. He was at rehearsal, this week, so he didn’t come home until we had been there for nearly an hour. Luckily we have a key to his place.

After “Glee,” we sat around talking about it for a while, before deciding to go to the State Street Diner.

Needless to say, I got home around 1:00 a.m., and proceeded to stay up with my friend making bracelets until past 2:00 a.m. My last memory was her saying she was going to go get some rice when our other friends got back from their flag football game. Then I woke up at 5:00 a.m. with no memory of falling asleep and all my sheets off my bed.

So I got no homework done Tuesday night, as per usual, and about six hours of sleep. But that’s okay, because in “Glee,” they sang Brittney Spears and it was amazing.
