It doesn’t always work out the way we want it to (I remember being excited when the Giants drafted Ron Dayne) but few events capture the power of the potential and hope every fan feels coming into the season better than the draft, except maybe opening day.
So tonight, sit back, relax, groan at Chris Berman’s nicknames, mock Mel Kiper Jr’s hair, which resembles nothing so much as what would happen if Matthew Perry played Princess Leia in Star Wars, yell at the NFL Network analysts to shut up if you can get NFL Network and enjoy the show.
