1. The Ithaca College Gerontology Institute will host its Distinguished Speaker Lucia McBee, who will give a presentation titled “Mindfulness-Based Elder Care: A Model for Health Care Workers and Caregivers,” at 7 p.m. tonight in Emerson Suites. McBee is a geriatric social worker who has integrated mindfulness, movement, massage and aromatherapy into her work with the elderly and their caregivers.
2. Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow will be sponsoring the first ever “I Love IC Week” from Feb. 24–28. The week will include events focusing on philanthropy, life after college and college pride. You can follow the events of the week on Twitter with the hashtag #ILoveICWeek.
