Juan Gonzalez, co-host of Democracy Now! has postponed his visit to Ithaca College on Wednesday because of a back injury, according to Maura Stephens, associate director of the Park Center for Independent Media.Gonzalez is currently receiving medical treatment for his injury and his doctors have advised him not to travel. There is no date set for his return yet, but according to a press release the event will most likely be rescheduled next semester when Gonzalez recuperates from his injury.
Because the presentation was postponed, Gonzalez arranged for the producer of the film adaptation of his book “Harvest of Empire” to send a copy of the film to the college to screen the film on campus at a later date.
