Location: Circle Community Building / 30 College Circle Drive

Summary: Caller reported unknown person stole laundry detergent. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded. This is a pending investigation.

 

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE/INJURY RELATED

Location: East Tower / 143 Tower Skyline Drive

Summary: Caller reported while getting out of bed injuring their ankle. The person declined medical assistance. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded

Location: Coddington Road / Roadway Coddington Road

Summary: Caller reported third-hand information about an unknown person with a knife looking into vehicles. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded.

Location: Alumni Circle / Roadway Alumni Circle

Summary: Caller reported a person made statements about harm to self and others. The person was taken into custody under mental hygiene law and transported to the hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Jordan Bartolis responded.

Summary: Caller reported person having an allergic reaction. The person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Ivan Cruz responded

V&T LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT

Location: U-Lot / N Of 113 Campus Center Way

Summary: Caller reported an unknown vehicle damaged a parked vehicle and left the scene. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded. This is a pending investigation.

 

FIRE ACTUAL FIRE/FLAME/IGNITION

Location: Terrace 3 / 98 Flora Brown Drive

Summary: Caller reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by a fire from a candle. The fire was extinguished prior to the officers arrival. The person that put the fire out injured their hand. That person declined medical assistance. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded.

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by burnt food. Charlie Sherman, fire and building safety coordinator, responded.

Summary: Caller reported person spreading false information. Officer Kevin McClain responded to the call. This is a pending investigation.

 

SCC FIRE SAFETY RELATED OFFENSES

Summary: During a fire investigation, it was determined the fire was caused by a person burning a candle and that person was referred to student conduct. Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded. The people responsible were referred to student conduct

 

HARASSMENT 2ND DEGREE

Location: On Campus Residence Hall (Unknown Specifically) / General Area Danby Road / 96B

Summary: Caller reported third-hand information that one person touched another in an aggressive/forceful manner. Tom Dunn, associate director and deputy chief of Public Safety and Emergency Management, responded and referred the student to the Title IX team in the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards.

Location: West Tower / 151 Tower Skyline Drive

Summary: Caller reported third-hand information that a person was making statements about self-harm. That person was taken into custody under mental hygiene law and was transported to hospital by ambulance. Master Patrol Officer Sophia Dimkos responded.

Summary: Caller reported an unknown person damaged the hood of a vehicle. Patrol Officer Alex Hitchcock responded. This is a pending investigation.

Location: Campus Center / 113 Campus Center Way

Summary: Caller reported person did not scan their ID card and refused to leave. That person was referred to student conduct.  Sergeant Bryan Verzosa responded. The people responsible were referred to student conduct.

Summary: Caller reported an unknown person stole an iPad. Patrol Officer Connor McCoy responded. This is a pending investigation.

Summary: Caller reported a two-car property damage motor vehicle accident. Officer Kevin McClain responded to the call.

Summary: Caller reported having chest pains, difficulty breathing and sweating. That person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Sergeant John Elmore responded.

Summary: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by a fog machine. Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded.

Summary: Caller reported person having thoughts of self-harm. The officer determined the person was not an imminent danger to themselves. Master Patrol Officer Sophia Dimkos responded.

Summary: Officer reported unknown person stole product from a vending machine. Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded.
