MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT / PROPERTY DAMAGE

LOCATION: O-Lot / N Of 318 Grant Egbert Boulevard

SUMMARY: Caller reported a two car property damage motor vehicle accident. Patrol Officer Jordan Bartolis responded and completed the investigation.

 

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE/ PSYCHOLOGICAL

LOCATION: Hammond Health Center / 117 Campus Center Way

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person was taken into custody under mental hygiene law and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Jordan Bartolis responded.

 

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE

LOCATION: Garden Apartments / General Area Grant Egbert Boulevard East

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person posted a concerning comment on social media. Patrol Officer Jordan Bartolis responded. This is a pending investigation. 

 

RAPE 3RD DEGREE

LOCATION: On Campus Residence Hall (Unknown Specifically) / General Area Danby Road / 96B

SUMMARY: Title IX reported third-hand information that one person had sexual intercourse with another without consent. Director And Deputy Chief Dunn responded. The person(s) affected was provided Title IX resources and options.

 

FIRE ALARM ACCIDENTAL

LOCATION: Circle Apartments Building 151 / 151 College Circle

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by burnt food. Patrol Officer Kevin Noterfonzo. The alarm activation was determined to be accidental.

 

Feb. 20

FIRE ALARM ACCIDENTAL

LOCATION: Williams Hall / 131 Textor Circle

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. EH&S reported alarm activation caused by dust in the detector. Protection Specialist Enoch Perkins responded. The alarm activation was determined to be accidental.

 

CRIMINAL TRESPASS 2ND DEGREE

LOCATION: Lyon Hall / 412 Grant Egbert Boulevard

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person entered a room. Patrol officer Ivan Cruz issued one person an appearance ticket for criminal trespass in the second degree for the Town of Ithaca court and was escorted off campus. 

 

FIRE ALARM ACCIDENTAL

LOCATION: Circle Apartments Building 190 / 190 College Circle

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by a person cooking.

LOCATION: Grant Egbert Blvd / Roadway Grant Egbert Boulevard

SUMMARY: Caller reported seeing a person who had been issued a trespass restriction. The person fled the area. Patrol officer Thaddeus May responded. This is a pending investigation.

SUMMARY: Caller reported receiving an automated SOS message. Patrol officer Thaddeus May reported the person was not in distress. 

 

PETIT LARCENY BETWEEN $50-$199

LOCATION: Park Communications Bldg. / 318 Grant Egbert Boulevard

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person stole a hard drive. Patrol officer Ivan Cruz responded. This is a pending investigation.

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by burnt food. Patrol Officer Alex Hitchcock responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a two car property damage motor vehicle accident. Master Patrol Officer Robert Jones investigated and the report was completed.

SUMMARY: Caller reported having thoughts of self-harm. The person was escorted to the counseling center by Patrol Officer Jordan Bartolis.

LOCATION: Fitness Center / 420 Grant Egbert Boulevard

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person stole cash. Patrol officer Ivan Cruz responded. This is a pending investigation.

LOCATION: East Tower / 143 Tower Skyline Drive

SUMMARY: Caller reported locating the money that they had originally reported stolen from the fitness center this date. Patrol officer Ivan Cruz responded. The larceny report is unfounded.

LOCATION: Boothroyd Hall / 241 Lyceum Drive

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person had attempted to gain access to the building Feb. 22. Patrol Officer Matthew Patire reported it as an attempted criminal trespass. This is a pending investigation.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person having an anxiety attack with chest tightness. The person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a large scratch was found on an all-terrain vehicle. It is unknown where and how the damage occurred. Patrol Officer Matthew Patire responded. This is a pending investigation.

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by an unknown person maliciously discharging a fire extinguisher. Patrol officer Dana Malcolm reported the fire alarm was accidental.

SUMMARY: Officer reported unknown person stole an exit sign. Patrol Officer Alex Hitchcock responded. This is a pending investigation.

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person stole a soap dispenser and a paper towel dispenser. Patrol Officer Alex Hitchcock responded. This is a pending investigation.

SUMMARY: The Tompkins County 911 center reported an ambulance responding for a person vomiting. The person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Ithaca Police Officer Jack Nelson responded.

LOCATION: West Tower / 151 Tower Skyline Drive

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person sleeping in the lounge. Patrol Officer Joe Cloke  issued the person a trespass restriction notice and escorted from the campus. Cloke investigated and completed the report.
