Today’s top news and events
1. Frank Kruppa, the Tompkins County Health Department’s public health director, will give a presentation on regional health problems and how they can be prevented. The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Textor 101 and will be followed by a brief Q-and-A session.
2. The Office of Career Services will hold an information session today for students interested in interning for the public relations firm RF Binder. At the event, which will be held at 1 p.m., students will have a chance to learn about the PR firm and its hiring practices.
3. The Tompkins County Public Library will hold a Health Insurance Marketplace information session at 7 p.m. tonight in the Borg Warner Room. The free event will offer community members information about the health insurance marketplace, who can use it and how to enroll.
4. The Tompkins County Workers’ Center will host a free screening of Move to Amend’s documentary “Legalize Democracy.” The screening, which will be held at 7 p.m. at 115 E. Martin Luther King Jr., St. tonight, will also feature a discussion with members of the worker’s center.

Hundreds of Ithaca Bombers and Cortland Dragons packed into Butterfield Stadium on Nov. 16 for the “biggest little game in the nation.” The final score was 28–24 SUNY Cortland, but that didn’t deter Bombers fans from celebrating this weekend.
