FIRE ALARM ACCIDENTAL

LOCATION: Circle Apartments Building 12 / 12 College Circle Drive

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by cooking. Patrol Officer Ivan Cruz responded and the alarm activation was determined to be accidental.

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE / PSYCHOLOGICAL

LOCATION: Tallcott Hall / 286 Lyceum Drive

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person having thoughts of self-harm. This person was transported to the hospital by a family member. Patrol Officer Steven Hutchison responded and the person was provided assistance.

LOCATION: Eastman Hall / 416 Grant Egbert Boulevard

SUMMARY: Simplex reported a fire alarm. The activation was caused by cooking. Patrol Officer Ivan Cruz responded and the alarm activation was determined to be accidental.

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person placed an item under the door. Patrol Officer Dana Malcolm responded and the reported incident is pending investigation.

LOCATION: Lyon Hall / 412 Grant Egbert Boulevard

SUMMARY: Caller reported abdominal pain. The person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Patrol Officer Jack Nelson responded and a report was completed.

SUMMARY: Caller reported an unknown person wrote graffiti. Patrol Officer Matthew Patire responded and the reported incident is pending investigation.

SUMMARY: Title IX reported third-hand information that one person had sexual contact with another without consent. Thomas Dunn, director and deputy chief of the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management, responded and the person(s) affected was provided Title IX resources and options.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person sent a text message and now they are unable to contact them. Patrol Officer Jordan Bartolis responded and the reported incident is pending investigation.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a parked vehicle leaking fuel. The owner removed the vehicle from the campus and the Office of Environmental Health and Safety cleaned the spill area. Environmental Safety Specialist Mark Ross responded and a report was completed.

SUMMARY: Caller reported a person had injured their finger on April 9 when their finger was caught between concrete curbing. Ithaca Police Officer Jack Nelson responded and a report was completed.
