What’s happening today
Today’s top news and events

1. Despite the rumors going around the Internet, Ithaca College has confirmed that it is not considering cancelling the Cortaca Jug. The rumors of cancellation began after post-game celebrations in Cortland led to the arrest of 80 people Nov. 16.

2. After 27 years at Ithaca College, Ron Clark, fire building and safety coordinator at the Office of Public Safety, will retire today. Clark has been at the college since March of 1987. Online News Editor Sage Daugherty spoke to Clark about his favorite memories at the college, his decision to retire and his plans after retirement.

3. The American Marketing Association, the Office of Career Services and the Senior Class Cabinet will hold their 17th Annual Etiquette Dinner at 6 p.m. in Emerson Suites.

4. The Ithaca College chapter of Colleges Against Cancer is participating in the Great American Smoke-Out Week to inform the campus community of the harmful effects of smoking. The group will be tabling from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today through Thursday on the Academic Quad.
