The Bombers found the back of the net for the first time when senior forward Holly Niemiec was able to capitalize on a loose ball in front of the Saxons net in the 34th minute.
A second goal came ten minutes later when senior midfielder Jess Demczar scored her first goal of the season on a free kick from 25-yards out.
Under five minutes into the second half, senior midfielder Taylor Baranowsky scored off a header from a corner kick by senior forward Jocelyn Ravesi.
Sophomore midfielder Emma Oliver scored the first goal of her career in the second half off of an assist from Baranowsky. The last goal of the match came from junior midfielder Mackenzie Hinchliffe.
Although the Bombers outshot the Saxons 37–2, the Saxon’s goalkeeper, junior Sammy Jo Shanahan, had 11 saves. All three Bomber goalkeepers, sophomore Stacey DiGiorgio, senior Karen Macke and freshman Sara Jakobsze, saw time on the field. DiGiorgio made two saves in net.
