Just last night, the Cleveland Cavaliers set an all-time mark for futility in the NBA, losing their 25th game in a row. While it is absolutely astonishing that a professional sports franchise could lose that many games in a row, there is hope in the near future for the Cavs.
If they lose their next two games to the Pistons and Clippers, it would set up, on paper at least, what could the worst NBA game of all-time. This Sunday, the Cavs play the Wizards in Cleveland, who own an 0–25 record on the road.
Something is going to have to give. Will the Cavs losing streak end, or will the Wizards finally win a road game? This is one game we won’t see again for a while.
