An order referred Doe v. Ithaca College et al. to Mandatory Mediation, which is an alternative form of dispute resolution offered by the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. A mandatory mediation aims to improve communication between the parties involved. A mediator does not have a final say in the case and mandatory mediation does not impact the original scheduling order of the case.
