Butterfield Stadium, the home of the Ithaca College football team, will receive an artificial turf playing surface after a donation by an alum. The venue will be renamed to Bertino Field at Butterfield Stadium.

As the Ithaca College football team continues its NCAA tournament run, Ithaca College announced it has received a donation to upgrade the home playing field for the Bombers.
Coming off a Liberty League Championship game appearance in 2021, the Ithaca College men’s soccer team had a challenging 2022 season, earning a record of 3–9–5 while tallying 11 goals in 17 games.

Women’s soccer advances to Liberty League championship with 1–0 win over Clarkson

The Ithaca College women’s soccer team advanced to the Liberty League Championship game with a thrilling 1–0 win over Clarkson University.
The Ithaca College field hockey team will finish their 2022 season with a 14–4 record following a 1–0 loss to the Herons. The team still has a chance to earn an at-large bid in the NCAA DIII field hockey tournament.

Field Hockey falls to William Smith 1–0 in the Liberty League semifinal

After coming off of a victorious Senior Day against the William Smith College Herons on Oct. 23, the Ithaca College field hockey team fell 1–0 in an overtime loss.
First-year student August Donato, who is on the men’s rugby team, came out as transgender earlier this year, and began hormone treatment in August.

Donato has been on testosterone treatment since August. He had to choose between being on the rowing team at Fordham or being open about his identity.
