The General Assembly has approved legislation to grant in-state tuition to students in Maryland who are illegal immigrants.
Wooo! This is great news. Maryland is now the 12th state to grant in-state tuition to illegal immigrants. I think I’ve made it pretty clear that I’m a big supporter of the Dream Act, so when I see bills like this one getting passed, it gives me hope.
Congrats Maryland, for being progressive.
