A person with homosexual interests is still a person. An attraction to the same gender does not make you any less male or female, and it definitely does not make you any less human.
I apologize for the small hiatus I took from writing, midterms were rough ya’ll and I really needed the break to recharge.
Let’s move on now to some quick life-updates now that I'm backing from...
Through the weekly challenges, I’ve found that it is easier to stay away from the foods I say ‘no’ to the week after the challenge. You and your body get used to not seeing french-fries on your plate, or root beer in your cups as much as before.
Not only did the students they help me with my injuries, but they’re really great people to talk to in general. If you have any sort of injury that you think needs assistance, I highly suggest checking out the clinic.
The point that I want to make is this: no matter what your spiritual beliefs are, there will be people who put you into certain groupings. This is a result of the extremists in religion who have created an image that is unfairly placed on all who have the same or similar beliefs. Our country prides itself on welcoming diversity, yet religion causes so much conflict and so many hard feelings.
The dining halls are filled with ice cream, pies, cookies and cakes everyday. If they’re all ready for me to pick up and eat them, how am I supposed to say no? Well this week, that’s all I am allowing myself to say.
What is it that makes gender a source of so many problems? How can the XX or XY chromosomes differ that significantly that a person’s sex dictates certain categories that they fall into?
