1. The Department of Writing will host a night of readings by Lecturer Jacob White and Carrie-Lynne Davis ’11 at 6 p.m. tonight in the Handwerker Gallery. White and Davis will read stories from their collections “Being Dead in South Carolina” and “Liberating the Sheeple,” respectively.
2. The Tompkins County Legislature will vote on a one-year moratorium on the proposed county jail expansion at its meeting at 5:30 p.m. tonight at 121 E. Court St. Students and community members opposed to the expansion will be at the meeting to show their support for the moratorium.
