Job and Internship Fair to connect students with employers

Ithaca College Career Services will host the fall Job, Internship, & Volunteer Fair from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in Emerson Suites.

The annual fair offers students the opportunity to network with prospective employers and find internship and volunteer openings.

Kristin LiBritz, the assistant director for alumni and employer relations, said Career Services is expecting about 500 students to attend the fall career fair, based on numbers from previous years. LiBritz said there will be close to 70 recruiters.

Marketing Werks, City Year and the U.S. Department of State are among the employers at the fair.

Students are expected to dress professionally and are encouraged to bring resumes to distribute to the recruiters. There will also be an area to have a photo taken that students can use in professional profiles such as LinkedIn.
