The college worked with Rankin Climate, a company that assesses institutional climate and specifically works with the college’s working committee, to compile the results of the survey.  The survey was made up of 117 questions, 16 of which were open-ended. Questions from the 2016 Campus Climate Survey were used as a basis and reviewed again by the college.

Campus community reacts to ICSFP protests held during Ithaca College Open House

During the last open house of the semester on April 20, about 15 students from Ithaca College participated in a protest and demonstration organized by Ithaca College Students for Palestine (ICSFP). The protest included chants and die-ins at multiple locations on campus, like the Athletics and Events(A&E) Center, the Roy H. Park School of Communications, the Campus Center and the School of Business.

Laine Norton, vice president for Philanthropy and Engagement, announced the departure of Quincy Davidson, associate vice president for Engagement, from the college in an Intercom post April 16.
In the reapplication email sent March 20, Ithaca Colleges Residential Life identified 14 five-person Circle Apartments that could be given to 51 four-person groups that applied for the apartments.
High demand for on-campus apartments prompts first-ever reapplication process

Discontent among Ithaca College students over Fall 2024 housing assignments for apartments prompted action from the Office of Residential Life. For the first time, Res Life allowed students who originally applied for Circle Apartments in groups of four — and could not be allotted one — to reapply in groups of five to potentially secure an apartment.
The Terrace Elevator Connector Project includes a new elevator that will make six stops through the ground floor of the Terrace Dining Hall up to Terrace 1; an accessible walkway that will connect Baker Walkway and the Terrace Bridge level to the dining hall; and two all-gender bathrooms on the ground floor of the dining hall. The only accessible entrance to the dining hall is on the west side of the building.
