Commentary: Power is listening, but the action is revolutionary

By learning what other students experienced, we may find some inspiration to help us get through today’s current challenges.
My experience is that the religious needs and concerns of Jewish students have repeatedly ignored and marginalized by the campus administration.
The lack of consideration toward international students has never been so evident.
It is time to resist, time to change, time to take control and time to fight for our future.
If we are to be more understanding of one another and grow as a country we must learn to listen and question ideas that challenge our own.
Our students of color have expressed their concerns about the state of our institution. We must listen. White faculty, we must do better.
I believe that we as college students inadvertently perpetuate a competitive culture surrounding our work that is harmful and unproductive.
My conclusion is this: Do not give up on your dreams. However, you also do not have to find ultimate fulfillment in the thing you do to make money.
I would like to shine light upon how much larger the coloring book of being a physical therapist can be.
Even if you did not directly interact with the program, take on its core value with you — there is so much out there waiting for you to explore.
Our world is changing every day, and I firmly believe that people should be given the opportunity to share what they need to say.
