Ithaca College gymnastics team falls to SUNY Cortland

The Ithaca College gymnastics team fell to SUNY Cortland 188.75–185.975 on March 4.

The Blue and Gold had a strong showing on all four events. On vault, junior Kaylee Pacunas took third place with a score of a 9.5. Sophomore Victoria Gery came in fourth with a score of a 9.475.

On uneven bars, junior Danielle Maffuid tied for second place with a score of a 9.45. On the balance beam, junior Kendra Balcerak won the event with a score of a 9.7. Freshman Paige Landes tied for second with a score of a 9.55.

For the floor exercise, freshman Emily Szembrot took third place with a score of a 9.575. Gery took fourth place with a score of a 9.55.

The Bombers will close out their regular season with a meet against Temple University at 1 p.m. March 12 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
