Men’s Track and Field: Blue and Gold hit two more ECAC qualifiers at Penn Relays

The men’s track and field team competed at the University of Pennsylvania on Friday and Saturday at the Penn Relays. The Bombers posted two Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship qualifiers over the weekend in the 4×100-meter relay and the 4×800-meter relay.

The 4×100 team of freshman Rashaad Barrett, sophomores Brennan Edmonds
and Jake Willis and senior co-captain Doug Koury finished their event with a time
of 43.39 Friday at Franklin Field.

The 4×800 team of juniors David Geary, Billy Savage and Nathan Bickell and
freshman Dennis Ryan qualified for the ECAC championships with a time of
7:45.99 and came in 22nd in the event.

The Blue and Gold had three runners in the 400-meter hurdles led by Brennan
Edmonds who finished in 58.53. The Bombers compete today in the Big Red Invitational at Cornell University and at the New York State Collegiate Track Conference Decathlon Championships at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
