If regional demographics are impacting admissions, then why are many schools not seeing the same trends in applications and enrollment as IC?
The additional recommendations include: Create a streamlined undergraduate application process, increase flexibility of the curriculum, make the faculty workload more equitable, revise and implement the course schedule, establish centralized management of graduate programs and reevaluate course caps. 

APP to include new admission process for Park school

The APPIC is also recommending the creation of more flexibility for curricula and admissions at Ithaca College as a part of the APP.
The Office of Admissions has discouraged prospective students and their families from visiting the campus. The college stated in its “Return to Campus” plan that the campus is open only to students, faculty and staff.

Faculty Senate calls for support for terminated faculty and staff

The Humanities and Sciences (H&S) Faculty Senate drafted a resolution that calls for the college to provide resources for terminated faculty members.
Sandra Steingraber, distinguished scholar in residence in the Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences, was one of the main developers for the Center for Climate Justice, along with Kathryn Caldwell, associate professor in the Department of Psychology, and Fae Dremock, assistant professor in the Department of Environmental Studies and Sciences.

Thirteen undergraduate teacher education majors at Ithaca College will be discontinued but most will be substituted with equivalent graduate programs.
At the All Student and Family Gathering on March 25, La Jerne Cornish, provost and senior vice president for academic affairs, announced that the college is planning to be fully open for Fall 2021.
