Commentary: IC does not hold abusers accountable

As a survivor of both sexual harassment and sexual assault, it has been extremely disheartening to see how the college has supported and enabled abusers and offered minimal support to survivors. 
About 100 members of the Ithaca community gathered at the Bernie Milton Pavilion on The Commons to rally in support of the right to an abortion. Protestors held signs that read, “Abortion is a human right,” “Women should have more bodily autonomy than a corpse,” “I stand with Planned Parenthood,” “Safe abortions save lives” and “Not your body, not your life, not your business.”

Ivy Walz served as the interim dean of the School of Music during the 2021–22 academic year. In 2020, Walz stepped into an administrative role as assistant dean after former dean Karl Paulnack stepped down at the end of the 2019–20 academic year.

The Ithaca College Presidential Search Committee has announced that it has picked an executive search firm to use in the search for the 10th president of the college.

College recommending finalists for VP of finance by end of April
