Julie Dorsey, professor, chair and program director of the Department of Occupational Therapy, said the faculty in the department worked hard to develop the curriculum for the doctorate program so that it is efficient for students. Additionally, Dorsey said only 50 students will be admitted to the OTD doctorate program. 

Department of Occupational Therapy offers doctoral degree program

The Department of Occupational Therapy has implemented a new six-year undergraduate-plus doctoral degree program that will begin in Fall 2023.
Sophomore Emily Behrmann-Fowler, who is pursuing a dual degree in vocal performance and theater arts management, plays piano and sings Jan. 29 in the Whalen Center for Music.

A tale of two majors: Sophomore works toward dual degrees while staying involved in music school

Sophomore Emily Behrmann-Fowler is the first to pursue both a both a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance and a Bachelor of Science degree in theater arts management, which she will finish in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
