Women’s Soccer: Squad’s tournament run concludes with loss to Wheaton

The women's soccer team ended its season coming up short in a Final Four contest against eighth-ranked Wheaton College yesterday in San Antonio, Texas. The Bombers appeared in the semifinals for the first since 1998.

In the past four seasons, the women’s soccer team has averaged 59 goals per season and is already outscoring opponents 20-5 through five games this season. But the Blue and Gold’s defensive play often flies under the radar in their blowout wins.
