The men’s soccer team kicked off their season Sept. 1 and 2 at the Cadet Kickoff Classic at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont. The Bombers won the games 2–1 and 5–0. Head coach Kyle Dezotell started the tournament in 2012.

Head coach outlines culture change to the team

The men's head soccer coach Kyle Dezotell has implemented a winning culture into the South Hill squad and the team has had their best record since 2012.
Assistant men’s soccer coach Braden Studelska was hired to replace current head coach Patrick Ouckama on the coaching staff. He graduated from Buena Vista University before coaching high school soccer.
