“When we came in, we were individuals, and we’re not leaving as nonindividuals, but we kind of melded together into ... one thought,” she said. “There’s one new person coming out, and it’s the eight of us.”
The baseball team picked up its first two victories on the season against St. Joseph's College, Long Island. The squad's record now stands at 2–3 on the season.
Four students traveled to the Rescue Mission in Syracuse, New York, and five to the Finger Lakes parks from Oct. 15 to 18 for the trips, which were organized and hosted by the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs.
After spending the 2014 season as a backup, the junior has now filled in as the starter for the Bombers football team and looks to lead the pack in 2015.
