The women’s track and field team started the spring season off on the right foot in its opening meet, the Coastal Carolina Invitational, during the weekend. The Bombers broke one school record and registered six qualifying times for the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships.
The Bombers finished fifth place out of 33 teams overall in the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble, which wrapped up their regular season. Senior Heidi Baumbach was the first Bomber to complete the six-kilometer course, finishing in seventh place overall. Her time of 22:42 set a new personal record for the six-kilometer race.
