Local businesses in Ithaca make it the home we know and love. The Commons would not be The Commons if not for the incredible people and businesses.

Joel Malina, Cornell University’s vice president of university relations, said TCAT did not justify the financial contribution increase of 8% and said TCAT already has enough funding, so the university would not comply with the larger increase. 

TCAT adds two new routes to South Hill area

The Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit Incorporated (TCAT) has added two new supplemental routes — the 11S and the 11N — to the South Hill area.

We've been pretty weather-priviledged this winter, but these last couple of weeks have put a strain on all of the possible outdoor activities. Here is a list of things that I have been doing, and wish to go on with in this gorgeous weather.

A new bus service that runs nonstop from Ithaca to New York City is now operational. The Big Red Bullet is an alternative to other bus companies like Greyhound, Short Line, and Cornell University’s Campus-to-Campus bus.
