David Weil, director of engagement and implementation for Digital Instruction and Information Services, has been named interim associate vice president of DIIS and chief information officer at Ithaca College.
Gerald Hector, vice president of finance and administration, will leave Ithaca College at the end of July to serve as the vice president for financial affairs at Cornell University, beginning Aug. 1.
These outages have been an embarrassment for DIIS and for the college’s brand, which depends on a competent network and navigable system of communication at all times.

McIntosh said there is more maintenance that needs to be scheduled in the coming weeks. According to an announcement from Apogee, Ithaca College’s Internet provider, on March 14, more maintenance is scheduled from March 14 to 18 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Starting on March 6, network issues have been affecting Ithaca College network systems and Internet services managed by Digital Instruction and Information Services.
