Women’s swimming and diving places 17th at NCAA Championship

The women’s swimming and diving team placed first in the UNYSCSA Championship for the fourth consecutive time, while the men’s team took home third.
The women’s swimming and diving team finished the season undefeated in duel meets and junior diver Katie Helly broke the 1-meter school record with a score of 323.55.
The Ithaca College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams competed in the Bomber Invitational on Dec. 2–4 at the Athletics and Events Center.

The men’s team won its first home meet of the season with a score of 176–115. The women’s team crushed their competition 238–62 to remain undefeated.
For the past three years, the Ithaca College women’s swimming and diving team has stood at the top of the podium at the state championship.

The women’s team came out victorious, defeating RPI 180–120 while RPI defeated the men’s team 201–93.

After returning to campus from studying abroad during the fall semester, seven members of the swimming and diving team had to adjust to swimming competitively for the Bombers.
